This 1933 home designed by Amyas Connell I believe would fall into the “International Style” but I may be wrong. The home is stunning and I am amazed at how well it has been preserved. From some of the arial views it looks like a tropical paradise. I won’t give to much of the history here as you can follow the link and read for yourself but here are a few key points
“This house, located in the pretty village of Grayswood near Haslemere, is one of the most remarkable and admired in the history of British architecture, a fact which is reflected in its rare Grade II* listing.
Designed by Amyas Connell, a pioneering New Zealander who settled in London and formed, alongside Basil Ward and Colin Lucas, one of the most important British architecture practices of the 20th Century, Connell, Ward & Lucas.”
