Gus Design Group, the Toronto-based furniture company has an absolutely gorgeous line of furniture. Gus itself is not new to the game they have been posted all over the place. Their pieces have strong lines mixed with natural and industrial materials. The price points on their work are spot on. Not to compare them to Ikea what so ever but just save up a few more months and go Gus. It is obvious that their furniture could last a lifetime. I love their “VISION” statement. Spring is just around the corner and I have been giving a lot of thought as what to do with our yard. I love geometric shapes made from different materials. I have also been looking at some Japanese Gardens that have that modern simplicity. I found this set of photos of Paul & Sarah’s house. Not only do they have a very cool modern home, just look at the beautiful modern geometric landscaping. Awesome job guys! More after the jump.

This renovation and addition by Terry Boling is very well done. The end result is a home any modern fan would love. There are a few uses of ordinary elements that make this house truly stand out. Take a closer look at the “wood” wall, strips of birch plywood. The fireplace surround looks to be some type of fiber board. This is great inspiration. Who knew common materials could create such stunning surfaces and textures. Link and pics after the jump.

I just received an email from Richard Wilkinson pointing to some new work for us to admire. Richard has one of the most unique styles, wood block meets anime with a touch of vector. Looking forward to those prints. Links and pics after the jump.
