I am really digging on the painting style of San Fransisco based artist Kim Cogan. His paintings have such a feel or realism without the strokes themselves being to literal. I have always been a sucker for a beautiful object with a simple Silhouette. The current work of Kirsten Coelho illustrates this concept perfectly. Maybe there is something to be “read into” these pieces. What is all beautiful glossy and white on the outside, could be rusty and tarnished on the inside, too deep? Either way they are fantastic and would look killer in odd numbers.

These stunning works by Toronto based artist Kyle Stewart are quite mesmerizing. I really like the organic dimensional shapes, the flow and movement really bring these abstracts to life. Stunning paintings by Bruno 9Li, they remind me of futuristic warriors. I love the hyper detail done will blocks of bright colors. I love the textural qualities that are represented in the paintings of artist Anne Tholstrup. The blocking of colors mixed with organic fine lines really creates an amazing landscape. One of these works would look stunning in a contemporary setting or a mid century space.

I am completely spellbound by the work of Kenichi Hoshine. The imagery is so dark and twisted, but twisted in a fantastic way. I love that the subject matter is familiar but vague at the same time. These works would fit so nicely into a modern or mid century modern setting and only enhance the space.
