It is starting to warm up here in the high Desert ( South East Washington). We moved into a “new to us” house in late November. I am pretty excited about the yard. I have already started to rip up the front and will have pictures soon. So here are some pictures to get us all inspired. These pictures come from www.eichlerforsale.com. Spring is just around the corner and I have been giving a lot of thought as what to do with our yard. I love geometric shapes made from different materials. I have also been looking at some Japanese Gardens that have that modern simplicity. I found this set of photos of Paul & Sarah’s house. Not only do they have a very cool modern home, just look at the beautiful modern geometric landscaping. Awesome job guys! More after the jump.
I was 8 years old when I received my first aquarium. I was hooked. I have owned several different aquariums throughout my life. I always look at them as this little world that you can stylize just the way you want. Gravel, plants, rocks and even the fish are all factors in creating your very own unique oasis. I recently came across the Aqua Forest Aquariums. I was completely in awe. As you can see from the pictures, they are made to mimic terrain on land not under water. Part of their beauty is the aquarium itself.
Simplicity and Clarity are the two key factors we paid close attention to in designing aquarium tanks for The Nature Aquarium. Eliminating plastic frames and refining the use of silicon as not to clash the clarity of the glass made of selected material. The Nature Aquarium concept has succeeded to design glass aquarium tanks which give your aquascapes a boundless panorama.

So I don’t really have any more pictures of the house to post just yet. We did sell the pellet stove, so now we are looking at TV’s and credenzas. But I have really been thinking about the yard. Two weeks ago I started cutting down some of the old growth in the back yard. I don’t think anything has been done back there for quite a few years. The front yard needs some work as well. I plan on doing a very geometric landscape in the front. I want to create some square raised planters at different levels and plant different plants or trees in them. I have included some pictures that may give you an idea as to what I am thinking.
