Dave the cow? "Modern cowhide rug"
We finally decided on a new rug for under the coffee table. I have always loved a cowhide rug mixed into a modern room. I had a hard time convincing my wife but she finally gave in. My 3 year old said “our cow needs a name” she decided it would be DAVE. Surprisingly it is very soft and my wife even said “it is gorgeous” It finally arrived, so here it is! 
Here are some other examples of cowhide rugs in modern settings.

That’s funny that you mentioned that Jan. Tyler has wanted one FOREVER and I’ve kept putting him off becuase I totally had issues with it being “sick and wrong” for so many reasons….and now look……here I am…..loving it! (shhhh, don’t tell your NO FUR friends)
