This duplex designed by Jules Wabbes was sent to me by a Plastolux reader, thanks Sean-Paul! The duplex is currently available for rent. Jules Wabbes is one of Belgium’s most well known modernist designers. MORE HERE. It looks like the majority of the fixtures are original but I don’t see a lot of his furniture work in the spaces. The abundance of rosewood was what peaked my interest right away. You mix rosewood with brass and marble you have some mighty fine materials going on. The large windows in the main area provide a flood of light making those spaces come alive. It reads as though architect Jacques Cuisinier was the designer or builder of the structure. I am sure any of us would love to live there.
