Eastvold + Plastolux = Goodro Credenza

The eagle has landed or in other words I finally received the Goodro Credenza from Matt over at Eastvold. While opening the well built shipping crate, I couldn’t help but wonder how well this piece traveled from Minnesota to Washington State. I was pretty amazed at the packing job done by Eastvold, every part of the credenza was given thought to when crated. Everything arrived safely and me and the family are super stoked to have this amazing piece in our home. From this collaboration other designs have been created as well and don’t forget that Eastvold can tweak or change these designs to suit your needs. Make the jump to see more pics of the Goodro Credenza.

Looks sweet. Eastvold did a great job.

I’m pretty much speechless…! You have what may be the most beautiful credenza ever made!

CapreeK: Jul 09 10 at 3:04 pm

Thanks CapreeK, you can have one too as Eastvold will soon be offering the Goodro Credenza with different options. One of the options that will be very cool is the color of the legs and the fronts. I think this would look really cool with yellow legs and doors.

Tyler: Jul 09 10 at 3:17 pm

Oooo, I love the idea of colored doors/legs! A nice aqua/robin’s egg blue could be cool.

Everyone else took the words right out of my mouth…It truely is beautiful…love, love, love the wood on white, the attention to detail shows a little heart and soul went into this piece.

Ok, I’m sorry to have to go against the grain (no pun intended), but I’m “Keepin’ it 100″…as they like to say in the hip-hop community. Dude, I’m a fan! And I honestly believe that your ‘hacks’ are far cooler then this original piece. I wish that you had simply designed it and then figured out how to create it yourself like you usually do. Anyone can pay a custom manufacturer thousands to make something beautiful. But when you get into your “mad-scientist” thing you really display the genius that you’ve been blessed you with. This is why you get great press and attention on so many websites and blogs.

Please don’t misunderstand, the credenza is awesome. But your true creativity and genius shines most when you re-imagine. Hey I like a Bentley as much as the next guy. But have you ever seen a Bentley next to a “cherry” restored, mid century hot Rod? Something designed in the 50’s by Harley Earl and re-imagined by Chip Foose? The Bentley simply does not compare, sorry. Guess what, you are the Chip Foose of Furniture…and I mean that in a good way. Everyone of your subscribers might disagree with me, but I represent the views of the masses, not the classes.

Keep up the good work bro, Your hacks will make you famous one day!

lloyd, Thanks for the nice words. I wish I would have tried my self too. Although that would have meant me going into debt up to my ears buying tools, probably wasting wood, gluing or nailing fingers together and loosing a good portion of my hair in the processes. Maybe some day in the near future I will try something similar but a little more simplified.

i love combination color of the wood & the white door. what wood veneer that applied on the plywood, btw?

citra cinderastuti: Jul 20 11 at 6:14 am

citra, the wood is solid walnut, the white is a high gloss white laminate
