I need your feedback!

Congrats to Carolyn from Annapolis, MD

All I need is a comment as to how I can make plastolux better.

I am giving away one set of my new HALF and HALF bottles.

What do you like and want to see more of?

What do you dislike and would like to see less of?

Any new ideas you would like to see?

Any feedback would be great, I will choose one person at random on Sept.12th. Only available to the U.S.

I have a new batch of sand blasted wine bottles in my Etsy store you can take a look at.

Just about everything you post is great, but I especially like to see some sort of plans along with the house designs. Even if they’re just sketches. For me, it’s easier to see how it all ties together with simple line drawings.

I realize that this isn’t problem an option on most of the things you post, but would be great if it happened more.

hi

i love your website and most of the design posts featuring some amazing interior photographs. keep up with that. not that keen on modern on ebay posts.

what i would like to see more of is diy posts. i love these posts because they are so chic and modern and very aspirational. i would love these posts to be more frequent and more detailed.

keep up the good work

I absolutely adore Plastolux. One of the only websites I check on a daily basis.

One thing I would love to see are more hi res pics of some of your blog entries.

Another are your DIY projects. I would like to see more and even have a place where readers can submit their own DIYs.

Also, one thing I have always wondered is what sites do you personally visit for inspiration? Could you share some of those?

Otherwise, I love the layout and the thoughtfulness that comes from your site.

Bravo!

I love your site as is and I feel inspired each time plastolux hits my inbox, may your new house be as fabulous as your previous home good luck with that.
Keep up the good work THANKS.

Thanks for the great comments so far—-please keep them coming!

I love the elegance in the types of photos posted on modern design. I’d like to see more how it ties in to what I can do with modern, like diy, or learning something from the design, or even interviews!

I really like how the site looks, very crisp and professional looking. Thanks!

I love the frequency with which you update your site, without falling back on the usual thinly veiled advertising that so many other design sites degenerate into.

I would also love to see more diy design articles. Maybe not so much how-to’s (though that would be fun as well) as just “here’s what I did and why”.

My least favorite posts (in fact I completely ignore them) are the ebay posts.

I’m not sure what you use to out you emails but for some reason the images accompanying the text never show. I have to click the link to see anything. When I click through on my Mac I still can’t see images and have to link to the featured website. I’m not sure if anyone else has issues?? hmmm.. just me?

Love everything. Will you let us see your house building process?

ModFruGal: Sep 07 10 at 9:41 am

Andrew - I will start including drawings if they are available

Meera - I love DIY’s as well. I get them submitted to plastolux quite often but unfortunately a lot of them are not to my taste or caliber (I know that sounds really snooty but I don’t mean it that way)

Dave - These are just a few, too many to list all of them:
http://www.the-brick-house.com/
http://ateliernet.blogspot.com/
http://www.doorsixteen.com/
http://www.designspongeonline.com/
http://finetingogsjokolade.blogspot.com/
http://design-milk.com/
http://kitkadesigntoronto.com

Katrina - I will try and provide some learning with posts

Ben - I will have more DIY’d and How To’s coming up with the new house

Mike - I use FeedBurner. Is anyone else having problems?

ModFruGal - Yes I am going to share about the new house. It may not be exciting to some. The reason being is that IT’S A VINYL COVERED TRACT HOUSE! That is the bad part. The good part is that we have a new builder in town that is excited to make it modern. Watch for the first post coming soon.

tyler -

i think some of the comments about the regular eBay
collage posts may come from a feeling i get:
there’s a variety of objects, but the same room over and over.

maybe you could rotate the room/setting - an office - a bedroom - a dining room -
….and then another living room - with an MCM painting -
on the white brick wall - behind the black leather sofa.

i’ll add my vote to the ppl who enjoy seeing your DIY projects,
with their crafstmanship, and well presented photos.

I do enjoy the photos and diy articles. I would like to see more usable ideas for the middle class. Perhaps color matching for exterior or interior painting, reusable green ideas, more pix with houses under the $300,000 price.

I love your site, I visit it daily. … I was thinking about this over the weekend away from the computer, shows what kind of nerd I am … Id like to learn about modern building materials. Whats crap and what isn’t kind of thing. … What technologies are being used etc. … Id also like to know this for regular housing but Ill start from where I can :D

Not to make this sound like a broken record, but your site is great. I put it in my google reader and most of my “starred” entries are from plastolux. You post a lot of very inspiring stuff. I would love to see before and afters of your home and what sounds like major project. While I collect tons of inspiration, my house is a serious project in progress and seems like such a mess right now- to see how someone else did it would be awesome.

Carolyn: Sep 07 10 at 10:00 pm

I would love to see more DIY stuff. I’m always looking for new projects and you ave some great ones!

love plastolux. how about including budget/cost info? it may be interesting to see low, medium, high pricing/quality of products and building materials.

rogue cat: Sep 09 10 at 1:49 pm

Enjoy the blog immensely. My personal interest is the interiors and photograph so more of that. More of your amazing DIY projects. I could do with less ebay collages.

Natalie: Sep 09 10 at 2:13 pm

Content is perfect, but I would prefer it if you didn’t have to jump to a new page when looking at a full post. And some more posts per page would be really nice as well.
