First things first

Most of the changes we have done so far are small simple ones. We had to change the lights on the house along with the house numbers. I chose a simple cylinder that shines light up and down. I chose a color that would tie in our dark brown metal roof, love that thing. Modern house numbers are super spendy. So I went down to the local hardware store and picked these up. I sanded then sprayed them a dark bronze color. They don’t match the lights perfect but pretty close. I have always liked the look of raised house numbers. I got some tubing used to connect ice makers and cut it into small pieces and painted them as well. I also had to get some longer stainless screws and just like that I had some modern house numbers.

The raised numbers look great, and I love the new light fixture. It’s amazing how small changes like that make such a big difference.

I love that light fixture. I’ve had a hell of a time finding decent modern exterior fixtures. Where did you find that one?

These were the best deal for the cylinder shape. Most of the other lights this style required you to buy a lenses for the top to keep the elements out. This light came with them. They have been great so far.
