The Fold house by Bossley Architects is a living sculpture. When I came across this project I wasn’t so taken back with the furnishings or interiors as much as the structure itself. I love that they felt that only glass walls would because they just had to see the view at all times. The approach of the house was a compound of sorts. There are three buildings with a centered courtyard. The interiors were warmed up with poplar wood on the ceilings. The structure and glass remind me so much of a coastal mid century home. “The modulation of the roofs reflects the rolling hills of the landscape around the valley.”
