Mid Century Modern for sale in Fort Worth Texas was in the listing that a reader sent me. This is one amazing home, I really don’t have words to describe how almost perfect it is. I say almost because the kitchen certainly needs some love. I awe at the horizontal slatted ceilings, how they elongate the rooms making them feel larger than they really are. The surfaces on the interiors such as the brick walls and floors add such a great diversity to the textures. Not to mention the incredible collection of period art and furniture, the place is like a MCM museum.

A rare opportunity to purchase mid-century architecture on one of Fort Worths most desirable streets. Internationally known architect Samuel G. Wiener, Sr. was commissioned by the original owner to design & build this priceless example of contemporary design. Beautifully manicured 1.25 acres.

This house is about 5 miles from me, and it’s in a very desirable neighborhood. If I had $1.3 mil lying around, I’d buy it in a heartbeat!

  • Christa

That ceiling was gorgeous but someone stuck a bunch of recessed can lights all over it. I hate when that happens.

  • Plastolux

Christa, I agree the can lights break up those amazing long liner lines

  • Modestics

You’re so right! The lights really screw up the ceiling!
