This post will be in two parts as we take a look inside two homes. Mid century gallery owners Philip Logie and Bart Dujardin founded www.be-dsgn.com which operates in the 1950s – 1980s range and makes a particular effort to champion Belgian designers and producers. Today we will visit Philip Logie’s home. There has always been a fascination or mystery with me as to what these (dealers and gallery owners) interiors are like. Do they keep all of the good stuff for themselves? Does their decor rotate monthly? I also always find it interesting as to what finally drove them to do what they do. Short and sweet, I love the kitchen!
Philip Logie, After studying linguistics and literature in Leuven his interest in beautiful things slightly shifted from language and literature to architecture and design. He got a foothold in the design field while sourcing vintage design at Flemish flea markets together with his two brothers. Five years ago when his own interior was already decorated and his garage too small to store his design collection, he founded www.be-dsgn.com, together with Bart Dujardin, a design enthusiast and friend he had known for years.
