Modern with a hint of industrial is how I would describe the work of Kith&Kin. I don’t think I have ever liked something so much that was described as “patch work”. The patch worked wood creates an incredible texture that doesn’t red grandmas quilt. The “industrial”, for me comes in with the steel work. The idea of having a blackened steel frame is unique and I bet quite durable. I also like the Fairmont Hairpin legs they ad that little touch of an organic shaped element against an otherwise geometric silhouette. These pieces are hand made and sure to last who knows how many generations.
