The term “Los Angeles Mid Century” brings a ton of famous and well recognized homes to mind. I love it when more unknown smaller scale mid century modern houses are appreciated. 1210 Roscomare Rd, Los Angeles, CA Built in 1963 by Architect Frank Katayama feels like one of those amazing understated but perfect examples of homes like this in the L.A. area. I really like the entrance with the metal screen. The stone on the wall where the fireplace is, is nice as well. Next to the fireplace is another screen, looks like walnut and beautifully made. I don’t know if everything here is original to the house but it all woks beautifully together. Big thanks to MidCentArc for letting me share his photos.
