Buff and Hensman built this mid century post and beam home home in 1962. Located in Los Angeles nestled in a canyon with outstanding views. The listing said it had gone through a restoration and expansion. Whom ever executed this update and expansion did their homework, in my opinion. Yes, some of the original finished have maybe disappeared but the total look and feel is on point. The home does not look to modern or overly glossy, if that makes sense. This classic post and beam has all the architectural features we all love. Floor to ceiling glass windows with walls of wood piercing through to the outside. I also applaud the stain of this house, or maybe it wasn’t staged but either way the house looks amazing.
