This mid century in Encino CA by James W. Larson is on the market. The house was commissioned by the Saxon Family in 1957 and were the only owner until the updates were done. I think the updates are perfect. It looks like they left the original cabinets, that is key to me as long as they are in good shape. The two wood walls in the middle of the house add a much needed bout of warmth. This is exactly what I would do if I needed to update a MCM home. The back yard is amazing and just as good as the architecture.
