Robert Skinner (AIA) built this mid century masterpiece in 1962 on a quiet Cul-De-Sac in coveted Trousdale Estates. Looking through these images, all I could think of was “the perfect home”. The main living area is massive with the ceiling bypassing the second story creating a glass volume that make a definite statement. I love all of the tropical flora and fauna around the house. I think the updates are nicely done. The kitchen is a bit of a surprise but I think I like it. Everything else including the bathrooms were done in very good taste and not overly contemporary. At thirteen million I better start playing the lotto but one can dream.
