This Mid Century revival in Virginia is the work of Cook Architecture and Michael Shapiro of Modern Capital. I seriously can’t believe the transformation this property went through, if you follow the link there are some pictures of what it looked like.“the house incorporates an original small 1951 Charles Goodman mid-century home into a new modern oasis with walls of glass and a spectacular cantilevered private master suite. The 2,311 square-foot home on a .6 acre wooded lot has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and two-car garage.” I think they did a phenomenal job an making a seamless addition. I like the stepped levels of the house culminating in the master suite.
