So I spent all weekend ripping up the yard, again. So you guessed it more modern landscaping with some Asian flare. Brian Higley has some nice modern landscaping in his body of work. More after the jump.
My designs are contemporary in nature. I feel that a simple approach is usually best, and leads to a more pleasing and beautiful design, and also helps the project to be more functional, coherent, and cost effective.
I believe that the landscape should be strongly integrated with existing and proposed architecture. Whenever possible they must be thought out together. A whole host of landscape elements are carefully considered, and arranged in a way that ultimately shapes the overall “floor plan” of a site.

lawnguru: Aug 30 11 at 1:03 pmamazing job on the dry creek bed with the rock/pebble combo. Only 2 things i would change would be the color of the bridge, a grey would fit in much better. Also why did u choose pea gravel? its way out of place, try putting in a fountain with mondo grass and slate colored stepping stones.
