Griffin Enright Architects has a great body of work. My favorite residential project is the Hollywood Hills Residence. I really like the entrance, the dark wood door against the white stucco and that large window are quite nice. The inside is minimal black and white modern. The modern landscaping is nice as well. More after the jump.
An elegant pallet of minimal materials served to enhance the illusion of open and expansive space. The living, dining, kitchen area opens up to a front court, while the library begins to step up the hill to feel like a room with in a room. An open stair ascends a half flight to the garden at the back, and switches back to a landing at the bedrooms. The vertical sequence continues to the roof via a submarine-like ladder to a secret roof garden that affords views of Hollywood and the Pacific Ocean beyond.
