So this week we hit the high 70’s and I turned on the sprinklers for a bit. I also did the walk about on my yard and realized how far I really have to go. So here is some inspiration for both you and I from Dry Design, they have a great body of work full of modern landscaping. More after the jump.

Really like their fountain idea…may have to tinker with that for a DIY!

So I stumbled across your blog due to a link from grassrootsmodern as well as your landscaping stuff on flickr, and I must say… I’m finding your blog, basically design porn. I Love it!! Thanks for all of the great info and inspiration.

hey there. i stumbled across your site while searching for modern landscaping ideas for my yard on flickr. THANK YOU. i am now a follower. just wondering, have you stumbled across any modern patio furniture that can withstand the elements year round? having a hard time finding anything that won’t either be destroyed by rain (i’m in oregon), or break the bank. not that i’m not willing to save for the right thing. anyway, just wondering. thanks for the inspiration.

Dani, I am in the same boat. I am in South West Washington, we have both extremes here, it can get below freezing and can be in the 100’s in the summer. I have a 700 sq ft deck, came with the house. I am having a table fabricated by some guys I work with and will probably just go with these around it. I don’t think I am ready to break the bank on outdoor furnishings just yet.
