Great modern landscapes by Falling Waters. I really like the geometric patterns made by plant selection and pavers. I also like the water features found through out most of their projects. Click “read more” for more pics.

Falling Waters a design firm focused on the ongoing relationship between people, site, built-structures, and plants. The harmony between Architecture and landscape is integral to the health and beauty of our environment; it is the responsibility of the landscape designer to respond and react to what nature provides. As designers and shapers of the built environment we have a responsibility to nature to be a part of the solution and not the problem. In every project, all effort is put forth to be respectful to the landscape.

Hummmm, never thought of using architectural foam. Would it hold up? Maybe in Co Cal but it might struggle in more extreme climates. I guess it may be like stucco on house.
