Cheap Modern DeskI am really digging on the finishes chosen by Incorporated for their 200 Chambers Penthouse project. Limestone, sepele mahogany, gold leaf, white marble, bronze and stainless steel are just a few of the materials used in this killer modern penthouse. If it were mine (Dreaming) I would have to infuse it with just a little more “vintage”, I would need some teak to warm things up.
The project is a study in architecturally defined spaces verses architecturally distinct objects. An ambiguity or tension is invoked as one travels through the plan between rooms that are discernable as objects from one perspective only to collapse into complex and surprising spaces from another point of view.
