Great remodel, I really like the wood wall that used to be the floor. More pics and link after the jump.

My brother David is the architect/designer. He and Steve purchased a run-down cottage in Laguna Beach several years ago with plans to build a dream home. Due to easements, not all of it could be torn down so David designed the modern house he wanted to fit with part of the remaining cottage. Several elements were pulled together and textures and colors are repeated throughout for continuity. Steve keeps the project moving with his drive toward completion and some mad skills.
