A 1960’s plain jane house goes completely modern. I really love this house, the wood contrasted against the dark gray siding is really nice. Personally I would have closed the garage off, so I can hide all my project mess. I found these images on Flickr and went to COOP15’s website but they don’t show the project completed yet. An existing 1960’s single story home with daylight basement and pitched roof is transformed with a two-story addition and new rooflines. Strong horizontal and vertical planes define each living space.
