Yesterday I received an email from Ana Escarzaga. Does that name ring a bell? Maybe this will refresh your memory, Inspired by American Modernism. She was excited to see her home on Plastolux and I was excited that she had emailed me because honestly her home is one of my favorites. Ana is a Intl. Design Consultant & Interior Designer and an excellent one at that, just look at her amazing home. The original post featured the interiors. Ana was kind enough to send some exterior images and a little more info about her modern home . So ya, the exteriors are just as stunning as the interiors. She also shared some of her Cees Braakman pieces. Thanks so much for sharing Ana!

“The home is inspired in the Californian mid-century modern movement. I worked very closely, for more than 2 years, with a young architect here in Spain to come up with what you see. Stone, concrete, slate, zinc, American red cedar, teak, and steel are some of the elements used in the construction.”

“long-forgotten dutch designer of the 1950s, Cees Braakman. They have not been re-edited since he designed them for Pastoe in Holland”
