OK so this is really not a big deal but it’s what I did this weekend. The front of our house was screaming for a wreath, of course a modern wreath. Our Christmas budget this year was already gone, so instead of rolling down to the store and buying one, I had to improvise. My goal was to not buy anything and use what I could find or things we already had. I started with a discarded handrim from a wheelchair “I work for a wheelchair manufacture”. I then clipped a few branches from a shrub that I mostly ripped out anyway. I wired the branches to the handrim until I had a pretty good build up. We already had these small glob lights, so next I wrapped them around the branches and presto my not so really modern wreath. I thought about adding a bow or some holly but decided to just keep it simple. Does anyone have any ideas on a modern wreath? See the end result after the jump.
