The Ramp House by Studio k27 with Marcio Kogan + Renata Furlanetto is a visual feast. The ceilings give this home a perspective of having no boundaries from the exteriors to in the interiors. The entire upper level opens to the outside. I have a thing for slatted ceilings and these are some of the most detailed I have seen, they create a piece of design you can’t ignore. The interiors are adorned with pieces by local Brazilian designers – such as Joaquim Tenreiro, Sergio Rodrigues – as well as international ones – such as Vladimir Kagan and George Nakashima. I also spy a pair of Papa Bear chairs in there.
