Yesterday I saw a Facebook post from THE GOOD OLD DAYZ and was loving the images. These images come from a collaboration between THE GOOD OLD DAYZ and Rob Vintage. This room is designed after my own heart, the balance of color and patina in these pieces are “just good”. For the most part it is a whole handful of mid century eye candy!
“Start with the key pieces of the show with a pair of armchairs culbuto Marc Held for Knoll in 1971, a model that is particularly close to my heart and has a unique story to me. To stay in the foundation , you will find a pair of armless CM190 Pierre Paulin for Thonet 1956 in a beautiful wool herringbone and a bench George Nelson Herman Miller Editions 50s. At luminaires , lamp uncommon 584G Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce echoes sérigaphie Xyco Victor Vasarely while an elegant lamp Nemea Vico Magistretti edited by Artemide in 1979 creating a dialogue with Marco Zanuso for Oluce on a row of Florence Knoll . To complement this, I slipped into the background a bear paw Georges Jouve on a base of Matégot and 2 ashtrays Kartell Joe Colombo and Ferrari & Maccarone . Finally, a small ceramic cup full of Fritz Van Daalen a table by Eero Saarinen for Knoll.”
