CONGRATS TO MORGAN FROM CALIFORNIA
winner

I am excited to team up with SeeSaw Designs to give away one of their very cool 2010 letterpress calendars. I really like the simple minimal geometric design. I love the fact that after the year is done it doesn’t just go in the trash, it stays as art.

This limited-edition wall calendar includes four designs, each with 3 months per page (size is 7.25″x11.5″). Each piece was letterpress printed on Crane’s Lettra 100% cotton paper using our antique Kluge printing press. The design emphasizes use after the year is over: trim off the dates, and keep the four pieces as prints. The calendars retail for $28.

SeeSaw is a full-service graphic design and letterpress studio based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Comprised of three ladies who met in college and share a love of design and letterpress.

To enter just leave a comment on this post as to why you really need this killer modern calendar. On Nov 23rd one person will be picked at random. Please one entry per email address. Sorry but US residents only. And now for the disclaimer. We are not gathering emails, I am the only one that will see the email addresses. Simply, SeeSaw has a cool calendar that they want to get into the publics eye and I want to give back to my readers. Click the blue + to enter and see more of the calendar

I need this super-rad calendar because I can’t forget another birthday or anniversary. seriously, hardwood floors may have been cool to sleep on in college, but not in my thirties :)

Oh boy…I’ve been lusting after these since I saw them a few months ago. They encompass basically everything I love in design…letterpress, saturated color, great lines, perfect use of negative space!

Jess (the wife of an artist): Nov 17 09 at 9:39 am

I’ve usually stockpiled a few new calendars for the coming year by now, but I haven’t purchased a one yet. It’s meant to be, this stylish calendar for me!

SQAB: Nov 17 09 at 10:33 am

Dude! I just got a new place and it needs something on the wall! I love the colors too! Please hook me up with this beautiful calender!

egan: Nov 17 09 at 11:02 am

I need this calendar because I have no art in my newly remodeled house. My walls are bare. It’s sad. Also, I love letterpress and this calendar is so well done.

Britttany: Nov 17 09 at 11:12 am

2009 was a hard year. A really hard year. And I’ve decided to move on & try something new. I would love to see this on my wall as I embrace the new year. It’s fresh, clean, beautiful and a great visual depiction of the possibility of things to come.

christina: Nov 17 09 at 7:57 pm

In love with this calendar! Blogged it a few weeks ago and would love to keep track of the days while looking at beautiful design and letterpress awesomeness in 2010.

stacie: Nov 17 09 at 8:15 pm

I need one of these because I’m a graduate student that can’t even afford a calendar, but this sure would bring some style to my drab soviet inspired office.

Brian Lovato: Nov 17 09 at 8:42 pm

I’ve been on the hunt for a great 2010 letterpress calendar and I’m in LOVE with this one! I hope I win! It’s got great color and depth.

MegRuth: Nov 17 09 at 8:58 pm

This would sure liven up my drab cubicle at work!

Benjy: Nov 17 09 at 9:08 pm

Simply put, I have no calendar.

Being out of work it’s easy to lose track of time…or what day it is. A calendar is a useful thing. A calendar would be useful to me.

Christopher Norfleet: Nov 17 09 at 11:28 pm

Love. Love. Love. I’m from a totally different design discipline and would hang this in my studio in a heartbeat. Great design is great design and that’s why I want it.

Susan aka Miss R: Nov 18 09 at 6:58 am

Kris Olmon: Nov 18 09 at 1:08 pm

Kimberly Fetrow: Nov 18 09 at 3:35 pm

Leigh Spencer: Nov 18 09 at 10:10 pm

scott: Nov 19 09 at 8:32 am

o.k. I have always been a big fan of letterpress since i took a tour of Yeehaw Industries’ shop when I was in grad school. Now, the guy that sits next to me at the architecture firm where I work has a friend in L.A. who does letterpress. Last christmas she send him this incredible calender that she designed and hand printed which is now prominently displayed above his desk. Each month’s page has an illustration of different regional bird and a description. It’s FANTASTIC!! Everyone eagerly awaits the almost cereonial turning of the page to see the next month’s artwork. So, basically, I want this calender to out do his!!! I will hang it proudly above my desk at work. I have already made the perfect spot for it. How about it???

andrew: Nov 19 09 at 12:09 pm

I’d be the coolest architect in our office if I had this calendar hanging at my desk.

Preston: Nov 20 09 at 11:44 am

Love my iPhone, but would much rather look at this calendar than iCal most days!

Ben: Nov 20 09 at 8:56 pm

I need this calendar…badly.

Neil: Nov 21 09 at 6:36 pm

I’m a total wreck at work. So many things are constantly going on…I find it difficult to stay focused. I need a calendar, in front of my eyes, to keep me on schedule. I’m quite picky with regards to my desk, but this calendar will be quite welcome to join the prestigious group of desk items.
