Amsterdam base Rocha Tombal Architects have a beautiful portfolio full of clean, simple, functional and of course modern interiors and structures. I really enjoyed the modern nursery, I don’t think I have ever seen one quite like this.The House Bierings is pretty amazing as well. More after the jump.

Man has a symbiotic relationship with the architectonic surrounding; architecture has a special role in our development since childhood. Form, light, materials, textures, are aspects of buildings that stimulate our sensations. When we recall the impressive moments from our lives, we associate these emotions with the physicality of space: the ‘anguish’ of the light reflecting on the corridor; the ‘intimacy’ of the attic shape; the ‘excitement’ of the open doors to the inviting garden. We will always remember the spatiality of these experiences and how they often influence the development of our own personal character.
