So this home is pretty old news but it is absolutely one of my favorites. I first saw it in Dwell and was soo impressed that an average split level could look so modern. One reason I think it is appealing is that most of “us” are in the same boat, although this probably was not cheap to do. We can take cues from it though. I love the fire place and of course the black facade. I wonder if I can convince my wife to paint our house black? More after the jump
