This Swiss Alps prefab by JM Architecture is a small but monolithic structure that contrast with the mountain scenery. Local building code stated that the structure had to have a dark colored pitched roof. They took it one step further covering the entire home in it creating a seamless transition from roof to wall. The roof to wall treatment gave this house a monolithic almost bunker feel. From one side of the house it looks like a stone structure but the other side is a modernistic glass house. The inside of the house was kept to a minimal mostly white design.
