I have posted about Freunde von Freunden or Friends of Friends before. When I revisited their site they had a new interview with Thomas Andrae one of the owners of Cream Contemporary Gallery. When I saw his historic villa all I could do was stare, I could seriously list every cool element is this modern art/artifact filled home, but I won’t. OK I have to name a few, the floors! holy crap, the hand railings, and all the fun artwork. Oh and I almost forgot the green vintage Porsche, sweet. See all the pics after the jump.
The interplay of modern and ancient architecture through the villa and leave one with his mouth open there. Whether it is the passion for the art collection or a unique mix of styles is the landlord, impressed with this villa and is a work of art in every respect. After an extensive tour we were allowed to ask him some questions. Blown away by the impressions that they also depend primarily on the restoration of the house to the original plans of the architect and the fascinating collection of art and furnishings that Thomas created over the years.
