As I have been looking around at modern credenzas, I noticed one thing, they are pricey! So I came across a site where a guy had built his own x818. I thought huuum, I think I could built that.
Some of the credenzas I like are $1500-$2500, this guy built his for $300, that sounds way better too me. Here are the pricey ones we like
So I have made a mock up of what ours will look like.
I have already ordered the legs. I decided to go with a little retro feel and use 8″ stainless steel hairpin legs. I ordered them from www.ianmaclean.com
I am still sourcing the wood, 1″ plywood is expensive so I am finding the best deal.
